Abu Dhabi, 2 December 2023 – The Emirates Defense Companies Council (EDCC) is set to organize the UAE National Pavilion at the 3rd edition of Egypt Defense Expo (EDEX2023), which will take place on 4th-7th December, 2023, at Egypt International Exhibition Centre, Cairo. The EDCC will participate as the Exhibition’s Strategic Defense Partner.
The UAE National Pavilion will host nine prominent EDCC members, including EDGE, Yahsat, GAL-AMMROC, National Factory for Safety and Security Products LLC, and Al Seer Marine Supplies Equipment Company.
Additionally, the Pavilion will see the presence of the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED), Nation Shield and Al-Jundi, the official journals of the UAE Armed Forces, and Capital Events, which will promote the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2025).
Held under the patronage of Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, EDEX 2023 stands as one of the largest specialised exhibitions in the military industries in Egypt and Africa.
Mona Ahmed Al Jaber, Chairwoman of EDCC, said, “The UAE National Pavilion’s participation in the third edition of EDEX 2023 reflects the strong historical ties between the two brotherly nations, marked by development, stability, and a commitment to strengthening cooperation opportunities in all domains, including economy and investment.”
